Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Before the summer started the entire internet and media was in a frenzy about a new Netflix series called 13 Reasons Why, where a girl leaves 13 tapes behind after committing suicide. The tapes are her reasoning why she decided to kill herself. Intrigued by the hype, I decided to watch the show myself. And I really, really liked it. It was well written and beautifully acted. The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena

Travel does not stand in the way of reading. Well, okay. Sometimes it does. I still managed to finish The Couple Next Door by Canadian author Shari Lapena. The thriller was published in 2016 and it reminds me a little bit of Gone Girl with its many twists and turns. And it even has a bit of a controversial ending, although I consider it genius. Cool Ipoh

If you are ever in Malaysia, don’t leave without visiting Ipoh. Ipoh is Malaysia’s third-largest city and Perak’s state capital. And Ipoh is a really cool city.
